St. Anthony of Padua

St. Anthony was a Franciscan Friar who was noted for his preaching and knowledge of scripture.  He was actually a native of Lisbon, Portugal.  He is usually depicted holding the Child Jesus.  He is the patron saint of lost articles and people.  He is the second fastest canonized saint, and was declared a Doctor of the Church in 1946.
